8/17/2023 0 Comments Twonky server price![]() I recorded this file with the QNAP DVB-T usb-Key on a french multiplex that happens to be HDTV. If i use the PS3 as a DLNA client, the file appears as "MPEG2" and is transcoded. It seems that the file can be played on my TV without being transcoded by 6.0.39, because CPU of QNAP remain low and no process ffmpeg can be found. The both version working TS files are shown as "MPEG" while the not working on 7.2.7 but working on 6.0.39 TS one is shown as "AVC". The DLNA client of the KDL-NX810 shows a blue text icon under the file name to identify the type of file that is listed: The same folder works perfectly in Twonky 6.0.39 The symptoms are that the particular TS file doesn't show anymore in the folder in 7.2.7 while some other TS files next to it are showing and playing fine. I can easily switch between both versions of Twonky to reproduce the problem at will! I use a QNAP TS-421 with QTS 4.0 (linux 2.6.33.2 armv5tel) which comes with Twonky 6.0.39 that works perfectly with my Bravia TV KDL-NX810.īut when i try to use the updated version 7.2.7 that is available to download in the QPKG addons, my TV KDL-NX810 doesn't see anymore some of my TS files that were working with 6.0.39. That are presented to it from Twonky Server The Panasonic TC-P55UT50 will now honor sort orders Luckily the following does allow for us to do thatĪnd add the following Quirk, save the file, restart the server So we are forced to do that at the server,Īnd are relying on the Panasonic TC-P55UT50 to honor what the server saysĪnd not what the Panasonic TC-P55UT50 wants (which is by date) The Panasonic TC-P55UT50 does NOT have any options to change sorting Meaning that the default sort order is alphanumericĪnd the Panasonic TC-P55UT50 was sorting by date oldest to newest It would NOT honor a default sort order of items in a container ![]() Meaning that the order in wich I have my items in a WPL are honored It would honor the item order when viewing a playlist ![]() Meaning that the list of containers were shown in the order I wanted ![]() It would honor the container sorting criteria presented by twonky One of the things I noticed was that the dlna client was honoring only some sorting Those abilities were just a bonus, price and picture quality were the criteriaīut you know me, I had to see what it would and would not do with Twonky This tv was NOT purchased for its dlna capabilities in any way It is currenlty running the latest firmware which is 1.230 We recently purchased a Panasonic TC-P55UT50 ![]()
