One of the most common assessment tools for the evaluation of itch is a visual analog scale (VAS). However, these methods are not suitable for assessments of itch. The Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) and the Physician’s Global Assessment (PGA) are the most commonly used assessment tools to clinically evaluate the severity of psoriasis. Clinical Characteristic of Itch in Psoriasis Therefore, this review focuses on itch in psoriasis, describes its clinical characteristics, and discusses the molecular and cellular mechanisms of itch in psoriasis based on its pathophysiology.Ģ.
